​​With decades of fine dining, hospitality, and retail management between us, we are committed to providing a unique and enjoyable experience for each guest. As longtime Asheville residents, we love sharing our recommendations for the best local restaurants, shopping, activities, and outdoor adventures. You'll often find us tending the animals and gardens on-site, restocking the cabins between stays, and interacting with guests in the communal areas of the property.

Our community of cabins creates a haven for guests seeking both tranquility and adventure, all surrounded by breathtaking mountain and forest views. After purchasing the property in 2014, we collaborated with talented local architects and interior designers to thoughtfully craft each space with style and comfort in mind. We initially renovated and furnished the hilltop cabin, then embarked on plans for the seven custom-built smaller cabins, working closely with our design team to ensure that every detail was thoughtful, beautiful, and intentional. Today, modern amenities blend seamlessly with elegant furnishings to ensure that your vacation is deeply relaxing and genuinely enjoyable.

Our goal is to offer more than just a comfortable place to stay—but to provide a unique experience that connects you more deeply with nature. Guests can visit the on-site chickens and ducks, stop by the garden to harvest fresh vegetables, fruit, and herbs; explore private hiking trails, have a picnic at our outdoor pavilion, sit beside the tranquil creek that flows through our property, or gather around the community fire pit on cool evenings. While downtown Asheville is only 20 minutes away, Firelight is designed to feel like a peaceful escape.
